In America they also have many second-language English classes in High Schools (called ELA classes). I know that they teach English to children of foreign origins nearly entirely in some cases through literature. These are usually children of immigrants or from lower economic backgrounds.
- It would be really great if you could see/ask how exactly they do that, and what techniques they apply for low-level learners (those who have just started). Or if you could just get some materials/worksheets? (It may not be appliable to the area/school you are going to).
